Edward Holl was born in Munich, Germany in 1959. He spent much of his early youth in the village of Kirchheim located in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps.
He later moved to Canada and attended boarding school at Ridley College in Ontario before moving to Southern California and France. He received a C.E.P. from the Institut D’Etudes Politiques de Paris in 1981, a B.A. from Occidental College in Los Angeles in 1982 and an MBA from the Anderson School at the University of California at Los Angeles in 1988.
Mr. Holl is married and lives in Northern California and New York with his wife and children. He is an avid sailor, participates in a variety of other sports including ice hockey and enjoys hiking.
